![]() This is the same guy that thinks its "natural" for sixteen year old girls to be impregnated. "The big bad scary transgender ideology is out to get you and your kids!!!" says Matt Walsh who also sells nearly naked plushies of himself on his website that are meant to be played with by children. This would likely be one of the most hilarious things I've watched if not for the fact that brainlets like Matt get real people killed over their incessant refusal to fire more than a couple neurons at any given moment and accept that the world isn't how they see it. He consistently sits down with people that have a much deeper understanding of this subject than he does but refuses to acknowledge that. Why not be a new kind of intersex?Īn extremely comedic and trashy "documentary" that made me laugh with how often the point flew over Matt's head. It would have shown trans people a way to be trans without mangling logic or appropriating an existing sex. That would have been a useful perspective to include. Matt Walsh doesn't talk with any trans people who don't claim to actually BE the opposite sex, but are glad that they transitioned. And it wrongly excludes some adult human females, for example if they aren't aware of the norms. It also defines a lot of transmen as women. She doesn't need to follow these norms to have a female gender identity but she's internalized a lot of them."īut this excludes a lot of transwomen as women, since they aren't aware of many aspects of being a woman. Norms could be norms for how she interacts with other people norms about a woman's body (breasts, a uterus, etc.) what she wears and how she grooms herself what situations she should avoid so she's less likely to be raped etc. "A woman is an adult with a female gender identity, which means that she takes a lot (enough) of the norms about adult human females to be about her. The best attempt I've seen is from Katharine Jenkins. Philosophers have tried to redefine "woman" in a way that includes transwomen and excludes transmen. It seems to be harming women in sports and in many other ways, and endangering children. The movie shows that going along with transgender ideology isn't a harmless courtesy. Yet they're still biological males in other ways that can't be changed. Transwomen who've transitioned medically or by surgery are actually artificially created intersex people - biological females in some ways, so they appear more female than most men do. There's no constructive dialog he just gets vilified a lot - by women too! - and many people end the conversation. In reality, "transwomen are women" seems to be simply a demand that other people support the transwoman's claim to be a woman, even if they don't perceive them as a woman. So all he gets is a lot of circular answers - "A woman is someone who identifies as a woman" - and people avoiding the question. They don't even want to say that a woman is someone who identifies as an adult female human, because transwomen do generally realize they aren't biologically female. It's as if the phrase "adult female human" has become radioactive. They believe that a transwoman is a woman - but what then is a woman? None of them answer his question honestly. He talks to a lot of people who make a good income by supporting gender ideology: the therapists, doctors, gender studies professors, politicians etc. The movie is good at explaining the $$$ behind gender ideology. And she needs the man to open a jar of food for her (which he does easily). And it ends with a gender stereotype: a woman standing in a kitchen, cooking for her man. The movie starts with gender stereotypes: little girls all in pink, enjoying different gifts from the little boys, supposedly because they have different inherent preferences.
